On April 5, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and the Ukrainian company ARTeM concluded an agreement on cooperation in the production of tank ammunition. The document was signed in the presence of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.

The concluded agreement defines the principles of cooperation between the two entities in the production of 125 mm tank ammunition. This is yet another form of support that the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa provides to the fighting Ukraine.

- From the first day of the war, we provide support to the Ukrainian side. We are aware that as important as the supply of modern equipment is to ensure the appropriate amount of ammunition for it. That is why today we signed an agreement that will allow us to further increase the scope of support in the field of ammunition, which we are already providing to our neighbors - emphasized the President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A. Sebastian Chwalek.

Pursuant to the provisions of the agreement, both signatories decided that new production lines would be built in the near future, which would allow for the production of large quantities of 125 mm tank ammunition intended for the needs of the Ukrainian army. Their location will be chosen jointly by both parties. The Polish side declared to donate for this purpose not only its technology of producing this type of ammunition, but also the equipment needed for this purpose. The components necessary for the production of the ammunition will be supplied by both parties according to their means and capabilities. Both MESKO S.A., a company belonging to the PGZ Capital Group, and the Ukrainian company ARTeM have the necessary competences, experience and prepared staff in this area.

- We treat today's agreement as a confirmation of our business partnership. For MESKO, it is another step in the dynamic development of the company, and thus an announcement of the implementation of further international initiatives in the entire Ammunition and Rocket Group - said Przemysław Kowalczuk - Member of the Management Board of MESKO S.A.

The agreement on the joint production of 125 mm tank ammunition is one of several, that were signed during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Poland. It is also a confirmation that the Polish government, as well as the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, are systematically expanding the scope of support provided to the Ukrainian side on the way to victory and regaining full sovereignty by Ukraine.
