MESKO S.A., a company belonging to the Polish Armaments Group, and Kielce University of Technology signed a cooperation agreement regarding research and development related to information and communication technologies. They are to support the digitalization in the field of arms production management. Their effect will be a further modernization of the production of military equipment through automation and robotization of the production process.

 

Document on behalf of MESKO S.A. was signed by: President of the Management Board Elżbieta Śreniawska and Member of the Management Board for Development Dr Eng. Przemysław Kowalczuk. Kielce University of Technology was represented by Rector professor, Ph.D. Zbigniew Koruba.

 

- I am glad that our company continues to cooperate with such an eminent university, which is a scientific showcase of the Świętokrzyskie region. It is thanks to the cooperation of scientists and industry representatives that projects are created that enable further development through the implementation of modern solutions – said Elżbieta Śreniawska, President of the Management Board of MESKO S.A. She emphasized that the Company focuses on cooperation with universities because in order to meet the expectations of the most demanding customers it need to be modernized.

 

Member of the Management Board for Development of MESKO S.A. Dr Eng. Przemysław Kowalczuk pointed out that the technologies developed as a result of the established cooperation will facilitate i.a. inspection of certain production processes, including the production of primers, and will lead to the creation of finished products, while minimizing threats to the safety of employees.

 

- Cooperation between business and the world of science, resulting in the transfer of modern technologies, is an obvious factor in the development of innovative companies – emphasized Dr Eng. Przemysław Kowalczuk.

 

Joint works will be carried out as part of the Scientific and Implementation Center of Modern Defense Technologies and Security Systems established at the Kielce University of Technology.

 

It is worth mentioning that MESKO S.A. cooperates with other universities in the country, e.g. with the Warsaw University of Technology, the Military University of Technology and the AGH University of Science and Technology. During the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce in 2021, the cooperation agreement with the Kielce University of Technology on behalf of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa was signed by the President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A. Sebastian Chwałek.
