MESKO S.A., a company belonging to the PGZ and the Armament Agency, signed a contract for the supply of SPIKE-LR guided missiles. The contract is scheduled to be implemented in the years 2023-2026, and its value is approximately PLN 400 million. This is another tranche of missiles purchased by the Polish Army. The first batch of 264 launchers and 2675 missiles was contracted in 2004-2013, and the second batch of 1000 pieces in 2017-2020.

SPIKE-LR missiles are manufactured by MESKO S.A. licensed by the Israeli company RAFAEL since the middle of the last decade, constituting an important element of the anti-tank defense of the Polish Army and at the same time occupying an important place in the Company's wide product portfolio.

Thanks to subsequent orders and extended cooperation with RAFAEL, MESKO not only strengthens its position in its supply chain, confirming its enormous production capabilities, but it is also a step towards becoming a production hub for SPIKE missiles.

SPIKE-LR anti-tank guided missiles are one of the basic means of anti-tank defense of the Polish Army. They are intended to combat tanks and armored vehicles (equipped with reactive armor) and combat helicopters at a distance of 200 to 4000 m. In addition to the portable SPIKE-LR ATGM sets used by soldiers, they are part of the armament of, among others, ZSSW-30 systems.
