Successful 32nd edition of the MSPO 2024 Exhibition
This year's International Defence Industry Exhibition is a series of talks and meetings, and the Company's stand itself enjoyed great interest from visitors. The MESKO exhibition was visited by, among others, representatives of the government and parliament, local authorities, foreign delegations and military formations.
The first day was very intense. The stand was visited by many guests, and implementation agreements for offset obligations with Lockheed Martin were signed as part of the second phase of the Wisła medium-range air and missile defense program. MESKO was represented by Ms. Katarzyna Lipińska - Member of the Board for Technology and Development at MESKO S.A. Under these agreements, PGZ companies will receive additional equipment and know-how, allowing for an increase in production capacity, the maintenance offer for aircraft of the Polish Armed Forces, or the expansion of the research and development environment.
MESKO signed agreements regarding the design and production of solid fuel engines.
On the second day of the exhibition, the Company signed a contract for the supply of propellant charges for anti-tank missiles for State Enerprise "State Kyiv Design Bureau "LUCH" from Ukraine. On behalf of the Management Board of MESKO S.A., the contract was signed by the Chairman of the Board, Ms. Renata Gruszczyńska, and the Member of the Board for Technology and Development of the Company, Ms. Katarzyna Lipińska. On behalf of State Enerprise "State Kyiv Design Bureau "LUCH", the contract was signed by the General Designer-General Director, Mr. Oleg Korostelov.
On that day, the "State Security Leader" Gala was also held, during which prestigious awards are given for innovation and special achievements in the field of supporting the system and defense capabilities. MESKO S.A. was among the distinguished ones. In the category "Innovative product/service" it was awarded for the UST-2 PIORUN Training Device. UST-2 PIORUN is a functional representation of the PIORUN MANPADS and enables training of shooting skills of operators firing from the shoulder. This device is intended for learning and improving shooting skills of PIORUN missiles as part of training classes of operators of PIORUN MANPADS in the scope of conducting pre-launch activities, aiming and tracking targets, solving and implementing fire tasks in changing tactical conditions. UST-2 PIORUN allows for the assessment of shooters' training in the given scope.
For MESKO S.A. this is another award in the Security Leader competition. In previous editions, it received a special distinction in the "Innovative Product" category in 2022 for the 155 mm Precision Guided Ammunition for the KRAB and KRYL self-propelled gun-howitzers and in 2023 in the category of "Innovative Company".
The third day was also filled with business talks and further visits of representatives of ministries to the company's stand, where one could see, among others, the flagship product - PIORUN MANPADS and its new, technologically improved version PIORUN NG.
The fourth day of the Fair is the Defender Gala 2024. The Board of Targi Kielce presented jubilee congratulations, among others, to the MESKO Company, which celebrates the 100th anniversary this year. The award was received by the Chairman of the Board of MESKO S.A. Ms. Renata Gruszczyńska.
