In the years 2000-2002, the creation of further limited liability companies began on the basis of the assets of the companies: MESKO-ROL (production of agricultural machinery), MESKO-SERVICES (construction services, management of redundant real estate) and MESKO-NET (providing telecommunications services).

Since 2002, there has been a period of signing many agreements and contracts increasing the production capacity and the new range of ZM MESKO in the defense market.

The Company also provides services in the field of forming processes, machining, thermal and thermo-chemical processing as well as plastic processing.

MESKO S.A. signs, among others:
2003 – contract for the SPIKE anti-armour missile system;

2005 – offset agreement between NAMMO-Bumar/MESKO regarding the production of ammunition and demilitarization outdated combat resources;

2006 – an agreement regarding water to water missile system between ZM MESKO/BUMAR and SAAB DYNAMICS AB;

 

On August 3, 2007 ZM MESKO S.A. becomes a qualified manufacturer of SPIKE anti-armour missile system.

 

On October 8, 2007, a ceremonial opening of Demilitarization of Outdated Combat Resources Plant took place. The technological process, which is carried out in a safe and ecological manner, allows the disposal of small-caliber and medium-caliber ammunition, artillery ammunition as well as fuzes, grenades, mines, gunpowder and pyrotechnic materials.

 

In 2009, the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Lech Kaczyński, visited ZM MESKO S.A. As part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Central Industrial District, in 2012, the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Bronisław Komorowski, visited our Company. On January 17, 2020, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, visited MESKO S.A.

 

The Ammunition Division is established, which includes MESKO and 8 companies from the ammunition industry. The Laboratory of Working Environment and Environmental Protection is launched.

 

In July 2014, the “Błyskawica” two-stage short-range anti-aircraft missile demonstrator project is completed.

The Center for Innovation and Implementation of the Ammunition and Rocked Group is officially launched in 2017.

 

MESKO delivers to the Ministry of National Defense:

  • SPIKE anti-armour missiles for the Rosomak APC,
  • PIORUN MANPADS,
  • the first batch of modernized 120 mm ammunition for Leopard tanks,
  • FENIKS rockets,
  • artillery ammunition for the AHS-77 Dana and 2S1 Goździk self-propelled howitzers, as well as 23 and 30 mm ammunition

 

Signed agreements:

  • on cooperation between Bumar Amunicja S.A. and the American concern Lockheed Martin regarding cooperation with the Americans as part of the Homar rocket program;
  • consortium agreement for the implementation of the modernization program of the air defense and anti-aircraft defense system (known as the Polish Shield);
  • investment agreement between PGZ S.A. and the State Treasury for investment projects related to gaining competence in the production of multi-based gunpowder, ammunition and rockets.

The period 2000 – 2021 means many awards and prizes, not only in the industry, but also as the Best Employer, the Best Company of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship or the Region Leader.

 

Awards:

  • 2008 – 3rd degree award in the PZITB competition “Construction of the Year 2007” for the construction of a waste disposal line and unnecessary combat assets at ZM MESKO S.A.;
  • 2008 - Minister of Economy Award for „the Best Offset Recipient of Defense Industry” awarded during the 16th MSPO in Kielce;
  • 2010 – Defender Award for reduced ricochet risk ammunition at the 18th MSPO in Kielce;
  • 2010 – Ranking of the Best Companies in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship;
  • 2011 – Minister of Economy Award for a „Significant Offset Recipient in Poland” awarded during the 19th MSPO in Kielce;
  • 2012 – Special Award of the Minister of Economy in the category of “Polish Armament Exporter”. Diploma of Appreciation for 20 years of participation in the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO;
  • 2012 – Bumar Amunicja S.A. – XV in the “Golden Hundred” ranking of the largest companies in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship;
  • 2015 – MESKO S.A., together with the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Zielonka, at the MSPO Exhibition, received the Defender award for a 120 mm APFSDS-T ammunition for the Rh 120 L44 tank gun used in Leopard tanks;
  • 2016 – MESKO S.A. awarded the SUPERLIDER title in the edition of the economic prize “Region Leaders 2015”;
  • 2016 – laureate of the 8th edition of the Employee-Friendly Employer competition;
  • 2016 – Nomination for the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland;
  • 2016 – Orły Exportu 2016 – “Innovative Exporter” award – for the export success of the GROM MANPADS and “Export Personality” award – granted to people who contributed most to the development of exports;
  • 2016 – Świętokrzyski Diamond – MESKO S.A. one of the leaders in the metal industry (3rd place) and in terms of employment (3rd place – the largest employer);
  • 2016 - The Award of President of the Republic of Poland for the product which best serves the army and the safety of soldiers for PIORUN MANPADS;
  • 2017 – 9th place in the “Golden 100” ranking of the largest companies of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship;
  • 2017 – Świętokrzyski Diamond – MESKO S.A. received this prestigious economic prize during the II Świętokrzyskie Economic Forum in Kielce;
  • 2018 – MESKO S.A., together with the WITU Zielonka (the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Zielonka), at the XXVI MSPO Exhibition, received the Defender award for the M-21 HE FENIKS ROCKET.
